Here are the possible bus trips for 2019 sponsored by the Machias Chamber. We need to know which ones you might be interested in!
2019 Bus Trip Possibilities (all prices are estimates). Let us know if you wish to be placed on the “interested” list for any of these trips. We need 30 confirmed reservations for any trip to be scheduled.
To be added to any trip, send an email to sharon@machiaschamber.org or call the Chamber at 255.4402. All trips leave from Hannaford in Machias and passengers can be picked up at several locations along the I95 corridor.

CONFIRMED: Third annual Boston Red Sox trip: overnight from Machias, Back Bay Hilton Hotel (within walking distance of Fenway) and tickets to game (GREAT tickets!) We will not know until mid-November which home game we are able to get tickets for. Sign up now to reserve your seat.

Boston, Salem and Cape Ann – 5 days/4 nights – $635 d/o all breakfasts, all dinners, guided tour of Boston, Faneuil Hall and Quincy Marketplace, Lexington and Concord, visit to “Cheers,” JFK Presidential Library and Museum, full day on scenic coastal Massachusetts including Salem and Cape Ann, Gloucester and Rockport.

CONFIRMED: Lancaster Amish – The Machias Bay Chamber is so pleased to announce another fantastic bus trip this fall! The Lancaster Show Trip – a full six days, five nights, leaving from Machias. The trip includes three days in Amish Country, two live shows, a daylong guided tour of Philadelphia including free time at the Liberty Bell, a guided tour of Lancaster PA and a visit to Kitchen Kettle Village, an authentic Amish village with an Amish marketplace of shops and restaurants. What a trip!
The dates are Monday, Sept. 16, to Saturday, Sept. 21. Seatsare $655 per person based on double occupancy. The trip also includes 5 breakfasts and 3 dinner meals. Call the Machias Bay Chamber to reserve your seats and get further details – 255.4402.

Washington, DC – 7 days/6 nights – $729 d/o WW II Memorial, Capital Hill, Embassy Row, the Korean and Vietnam memorials, the Smithsonian, MLK and Lincoln memorials, evening guided monument tour, Mount Vernon Estate and Garden, tram ride through Arlington Cemetery, Museum of the Bible (optional)
